The Marketing Specialist is a critical role to ENVITAE’s success. The Marketing Specialist will have the opportunity to work on various projects in our company portfolio and can expect to primarily work on a vacation rental business and several digital startups. Responsibilities and Duties
The Marketing Specialist must be able to:
Create and drive digital marketing strategies through paid and unpaid methods
Successfully manage multiple projects at once and prioritize work accordingly
Learn new skills and implement them confidently. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for leading digital marketing initiatives and will need to be a strong self-starter
Adapt quickly - this is a startup company, and thus we are always looking for ways to optimize and improve the customer experience. When changes are made, the Marketing Specialist needs to pivot quickly.
Operate autonomously and be able to produce strong results with limited supervision
Design, structure and run email campaigns.
Run advertising campaigns and report clear metrics to management that clarify efficiency, conversions and provide insights.
Communicate clearly with internal team members (typically done via Slack)
Beef up SEO and blogs, oursource where necessary but you are a great copywriter yourself.
An ideal Marketing Specialist would have:
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing strongly preferred
At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing driving customer acquisition, both paid and unpaid
Ability to prepare, schedule and post social media content to grow social followings and drive revenue
Experience writing great copy and/or writing a corporate blog with SEO long-tail traffic focus
Desire to own the execution and success of social media channels, promotions and email campaigns
A passion for efficiency and metrics that translates to weekly dashboards for management review
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English (native preferred)
Experience in business development and/or working at a startup preferred
The Marketing Specialist will not need to have a set work schedule outside of any organized meetings or project deliverables
Need to be able to hold yourself accountable to deliver all projects on time without being managed
The pay rate will vary depending on the location and prior experience and can be discussed before hiring.
